Chlorination Facility


A new facility and systems to unload liquid chlorine, evaporate to a gaseous state, and inject into a solution for distribution to the sewage plant final effluent. Involves installation of high pressure liquid chlorine and compressed air piping, ductile iron rubber lined chlorine solution piping, hot water boilers and evaporators, chlorinators and injectors, air scrubber, site process piping, HVAC and plumbing systems.

 

Elizabeth Lake Pump Station Rehabilitation

Complete renovation of an existing sanitary pumping station. Involves replacement of (5) existing pumps, all piping, valves, and all mechanical systems. Coordination and planning are critical since the five story underground station must remain operational during construction

Waterford Township Water Treatment Plant

Increased water capacity will be provided for the township by installation of (4) additional water filters and a new well and pump. Includes installation of raw, finished, backwash water piping, and chemical treatment systems.

PC727 Fine Bubble Membrane Oxidation Diffusers in Bay 3 Aeration Deck 2

Installation of an oxygen distribution and diffuser system into an existing aeration tank 30 ft below ground at the Detroit Waste Treatment Facility. The stainless steel piping system is installed completely in a confined space area.

Springwells Water Treatment Plant

Replacement of (42) filter cells, diffusers, underdrain, and media used to refine drinking water for the Detroit Water and Sewerage Department. Installation of rotary agitators in (68) cells and skimmer water supply piping. Replacement of large diameter butterfly valves (36"), rate of flow controllers, and hydraulic actuators for all (68) cells.
